Welcome to Football Friendlies (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking or participating in any football session organised through our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not book or participate in our games.

2. Nature of Service

Football Friendlies provides an online platform to organise and facilitate informal football matches.

  • We do not own, manage, or control the venues where games take place.
  • We act solely as an organiser and booking facilitator for friendly football sessions.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or have parental/guardian consent).
  • You confirm you are physically fit and able to participate.
  • You understand the physical nature of football.

4. Booking & Payments

  • All bookings must be made through our website.
  • Payment is required to secure your place.
  • Bookings are confirmed only once payment is received.
  • Bookings are non-transferable unless agreed otherwise.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellation terms are provided at the time of booking.
  • Failure to attend may result in loss of payment.
  • We may cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. weather or venue issues).
  • Where appropriate, a refund or reschedule will be offered.

6. Participant Responsibilities

  • Comply with all venue rules and requirements.
  • Avoid dangerous or reckless behaviour.

We reserve the right to remove or ban participants for inappropriate conduct without refund.

7. Health & Safety Disclaimer

Football is a physical activity and carries inherent risks.

  • You participate at your own risk.
  • You are responsible for your own health and fitness.
  • You should take appropriate precautions (e.g. warm-ups, suitable footwear).
  • You must not participate if you have a condition that could be worsened by physical activity.

8. Venue Disclaimer

All sessions take place at third-party venues.

  • We do not own, operate, or control any venue.
  • We are not responsible for the condition or safety of any venue.
  • You must follow all instructions given by venue staff.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Participation is entirely at your own risk.
  • We are not liable for injury, illness, or death.
  • We are not liable for loss or damage to personal property.
  • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.

This includes incidents arising from gameplay, other participants, venue conditions, or equipment.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

10. Assumption of Risk & Waiver

By booking and attending a session, you:

  • Accept all risks associated with playing football.
  • Agree to release Football Friendlies and its organisers from any claims arising from participation.
  • Confirm you are voluntarily taking part.

You are responsible for your belongings at all times. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
